Participation and opportunity

Different perspectives strengthen the questions asked of an engineering programme and the way its outputs are assessed. Softinator expects professional participation to be based on relevant capability and contribution. People should be treated with dignity across recruitment, programme work and commercial relationships. The company record includes authentic team material; workforce composition should not be inferred from a photograph.

Fair working relationships

Use clear role requirements and relevant assessment criteria. Avoid stereotypes or exclusion based on personal background. Consider practical barriers to participation, including access to information and communication formats. A respectful environment includes listening to concerns and avoiding retaliation when someone raises a good-faith issue.

Data and systems

Inclusion also matters in a system's intended use. A programme should consider who interacts with it, whose data is represented and which operating conditions are important. Evaluation scope should follow those requirements rather than assume one population or environment covers everyone. Decisions about model behaviour and deployment belong with the responsible project team.

Contact and review

Questions about participation or treatment can be sent to business@softinator.ai with the subject Inclusion concern, or to the responsible contact for the relationship. Share enough context to understand the concern while avoiding unnecessary sensitive information. Anti-discrimination, Conduct and Accessibility provide connected expectations.
