Processing connected to this website

Softinator uses enquiry information to consider a requested engagement, communicate with the sender and protect the website. This notice concerns those activities where the General Data Protection Regulation applies. It complements Privacy, which identifies the information collected and the delivery services involved. A customer project may involve different roles and a separate data-processing agreement.

Purposes and lawful grounds

Considering a requested business engagement can involve steps before a contract; administering an agreed engagement can involve contractual requirements. Security and appropriate business correspondence can involve legitimate interests, assessed against the person's interests and rights. A legal obligation may require specific records. Consent is used where an optional activity requires it, rather than treating use of the website as blanket consent to unrelated processing.

Providers and international handling

Website enquiries pass through verification, email preparation and email delivery services. Relevant processing locations and transfer arrangements depend on those services and the agreed project. An enquiry is not permission to upload unrestricted personal datasets. Any commissioned processing should define purpose, access, retention, responsibilities and applicable transfer requirements before the relevant data is provided.

Rights and requests

Where applicable, rights can include access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, as well as withdrawing consent for consent-based activity. Write to business@softinator.ai with the subject GDPR request and the context needed to locate your information. We may verify identity and explain applicable exceptions. You may also contact the relevant supervisory authority. Data requests provides the practical route.
